A few words about me...
I received a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 2000, and a Juris Doctor from the State University of New York School of Law in 2003. While at the School of Law, I was a publications editor for the Buffalo Law Review.
I have practiced primarily matrimonial and family law in New York since my admission to practice in 2004. I am admitted to practice in all New York State courts, the United States Federal District Court for the Western District of New York, the District of Columbia, and the state of Florida.
Since 2005, I have been an active member of the Attorneys for Children Panel representing children in contested custody and visitation proceedings. Since 2007, I have provided pro bono legal services in family law to financially-eligible parties through the Volunteer Lawyers' Project. Since 2009, I have provided court- appointed representation for indigent parties through the Erie County Bar Association Assigned Counsel Program.
I am an active member of the Matrimonial and Family Law Committee and the Practice & Procedures in Family Court Committee of the Bar Association of Erie County (BAEC), and the Family Law Section of the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA). I am also a member of the Bar Association of Niagara County (BANC), the Women's Bar Association of the State of New York (WBASNY) and the New York State Council on Divorce Mediation (NYSCDM). Over the years, I have lectured to other attorneys and provided written case updates and other written publications through the Erie County and New York State Bar Associations.
